Busta Rhymes Flips Out in Miami Over His Hamburger....

Busta Rhymes is no stranger to controversy. He has over the years been involved in fist fights, shootouts that left his bodyguard & close friend slain and more recently got caught up yelling at homosexuals and business owners because of their inability to serve him his hamburger as he so ordered. Reportedly Mr. Smith had the police called on him for yelling obscenities at Stephanie Vitori & her staff at late night Miami hangout Cheeseburger Baby when his burger arrived with ketchup, salt, pepper and mayo on the side (something Cheeseburger Baby does with every order, to prevent soggy buns.) After calling Vitori and her employees a series of “F*gs & B!tches” Bussa Buss down something left the scene with his burger in tow. Vitori, a lesbian said she has hosted thousands of late night customers, many of whom are celebrities and has never felt so “degraded.”

Last time I got a good look at Busta Rhymes, he seemed to be back in the gym and on his get in shape grind, which means he most likely is back on his no bullshit practices. People want to say he is on steroids, but I refuse to speculate on that. A while back a video surfaced where Pharrell was talking about how Busta Rhymes was unwilling to talk to legendary & now openly gay rapper Afrika Baby Bambaataa (of Jungle Brothers fame) because of his mode of dress and overtly gay mannerisms. Many people speculate that his over the top comments are due to his feelings being hurt that his ex girlfriend who is the mother of his 3 children is now a lesbian. Whatever the reasons may be for his wildin’, get it together Busta, cause no one wants to see you in jail or broke from the lawsuits these kinds of things can bring about.

The Essence of The Escape - Carnival Liberty 7 Day Caribbean Cruise

The energy you feel the moment you hit any port of call, prior to boarding a cruise ship is an astonishing feeling. No matter whether your boarding in Los Angeles, Miami, New York or Puerto Rico, to watch as the teams of porters & cruise ship staff members prepare that weeks guests for a “Bon Voyage” is like watching an action packed play unfold right before your eyes.

The effortless process that Carnival has created for the thousands upon thousands of guest’s who pass through their numerous ports around the globe every few days, helps to set the tone for what everyone hopes will be an exciting, smooth running and relaxing trip. Once you go through the check in process you are given a sign & sail card (which alleviates having to carry cash everywhere you go while on the ship) and it is off to the races for just about everyone from that instant on.
With so many culinary options to choose from, it shouldn’t take long to realize that the skilled and thoughtful staff that oversee the kitchens of this massive operation have everything under control. Every last detail, down to where they must stop and grab some quick produce while in the middle of the ocean should they be unpleased with this weeks melon and fruit selection has been carefully thought out.
If instantly getting to eating isn’t in your plans, you should slide on by the shore excursions desk. There you can get yourself properly informed about all of the amazing activities to do in each port (as well as score some cool promotional items that first day, many of which people know nothing about.)

The Ritz-Carlton, South Beach Honors The Miami Heats NBA Championship

MIAMI, FLORIDA – August 14, 2012-- With the Miami HEAT’s recent NBA championship win making summer in Miami hotter than ever, The Ritz-Carlton, South Beach is offering a way to cool down and enjoy a taste of their hometown team’s sweet victory with a limited-edition, ‘You Can’t Beat the HEAT’ dessert to benefit the Mourning Family Foundation.  The gourmet-style treat is offered as a special menu addition exclusively at the oceanfront hotel’s two restaurants, DiLido Beach Club and Bistro One LR, through December 31, 2012.

The Ritz-Carlton, South Beach Executive Pastry Chef Jason Morale carefully designed the decadent creation to best represent the HEAT’s star status and the residual excitement that continues to emanate throughout the city following their triumph. Presented in two pieces, the dessert duo features an orange-colored, mango flavored basketball on top of a thick layer of fudge cake surrounded by gold dusted mint chocolate crunchy, bite-sized pieces with a hint of mint. Accompanying the basketball is a martini glass filled with a flaming coconut crème brûlée, inspired by the HEAT’s team mascot Burnie, an anthropomorphic fireball.

The Mourning Family Foundation was established in 1997 by former HEAT basketball player and Olympic gold medalist turned philanthropist Alonzo Mourning, to aid in the development of children and families living in at-risk situations and provide support and services that enhance the lives of youth of promise. The cost of each ‘You Can’t Beat the HEAT’ dessert is $12 and all of the proceeds raised will go towards two of the foundation’s special children’s programs.
They will benefit the Overtown Youth Center, designed to inspire, empower, and enrich the lives of underprivileged children while teaching them to become positive contributing citizens; andHoney Shine, a mentoring program founded by Tracy Wilson Mourning, to encourage the balance of mind, body and soul in girls and women by providing nurturing experiences that enlighten their paths and empower their future.

The Definition of Sophistication... The Ritz-Carlton, South Beach

When your brand boasts 77 hotels worldwide in exotic places such as Chile, Grand Cayman, Indonesia, Mexico, Qatar, the United Arab Emirates; and the United States its hard not to attract a clientele that expects only the best. Whether it be a quick overnight business trip or the Honeymoon that dreams are made of, lets face it, The Ritz-Carlton name exemplifies excellence, everywhere.
The Ritz-Carlton, South Beach is without a doubt the area’s most lavish oceanfront hotel. Situated perfectly in the heart of Art Deco district (surrounded by great shopping and pristine beaches) the property is affectionately referred to by locals as “the hotel where the action meets the ocean.”
We flew into Miami for a brief stay prior to taking a cruise and found ourselves stuck in the lap of luxury. (click read more for the Entire Story & More Photos)

Carnival Valor 8 Day Caribbean Cruise Review

Being able to get away from the madness that all of our lives entail is essential to staying sane and focused on what is important. Too often we don’t allow ourselves a moment to take a breath and enjoy the small things around us. That is why we do our segments entitled “Road Trippin.” If it weren’t for these getaways we might be the next ones on the roof with the rifle looking to settle a few scores, believe us. Last December we took our readers aboard the Carnival Splendor, a massive ship that called Long Beach, CA home. Well this time we headed to the big East Coast on down to South Beach Miami and took a little spin on the Carnival Valor.

The Carnival Valor, a ship that calls Miami, Florida home is one of the many amazing vessels in Carnival’s arsenal of Fun Ships. Checking into our Ocean Suite on the 7th Floor / Empress Deck, for eight days was just the start of an amazing vacation. We took full advantage of our VIP booking and avoided the rather lengthy lines on one of the most humid morning I have yet to experience in my life.

Located in the “Midship” section of the ship the spacious 300 square foot suite is situated just around the corner from the Atrium elevators, which you will pass through more times than you can count over the next week. Featuring a King size bed, floor to ceiling mirrors and a large sliding glass door that leads out onto your own private balcony, the interior of this suit itself is 30% larger than a standard Ocean-View Suite.
