National Cognac Day: The Classic Sidecar

This is a good drink to wake up too, like your Grandmothers old school Mimosa. Enjoy this one throughout your day especially while sitting poolside eating some fresh grilled shrimp.

Ingredients:
1 1/2 oz Cognac (Remy Martin preferred)
1 oz Cointreau Orange Liquere
1/2 oz Fresh Lemon Juice

Directions:
Take a lemon wedge, cut a notch into the middle and use it to moisten the rim of a chilled cocktail glass.
Frost the moistened outer rim of the glass with superfine sugar.
Shake the ingredients together in a drink mixer with cracked ice.
Strain into the chilled / prepared glasses.
Garnish w/ a lemon twist & serve.
