Something that no meal is complete without is a good muffin or biscuit.  September is National Biscuit Month and we figured lets put a little spice into what we love so much and ses how it plays out. Turns out these biscuits are damn good and have people emailing us all the time for he recipe after we make them for one our backyard BBQs.

As you should know The Supreme Plate are fans of all things spicy and these lovely biscuits are not your moms bland Bisquick biscuits from your younger days.

The Spicy Oyster Shooter

The end of Summer is steadily approaching and with that we will need to start switching up our drink and dinner menus to fit the season accordingly. With it being the 1^st day of September that means that Oyster Season has officially begun. September is home to some great food holidays and today is actually National Wine Seasons 1^st day as well as National Cherry Popover Day.

With the amount of days we have to spend laying out by the pool dwindling it is time to introduce to you, The Spicy Oyster Shooter. Playing out like a Bloody Mary mixed with the most delicate sushi, this drink is one that can’t be passed up on. I am sure many people will get nervous when they hear it has an actual oyster in it, but with the spicy cayenne pepper, pepper vodka and celery salt, this thing will taste better than drink you have consumed after biting into the freshest of hand made sushi rolls.

Enjoy this often as Oysters are good for you (and for your libido according to who you ask.)

Growing up everyone surely remembers sipping on some hot chocolate loaded with mini marshmallows, snacking on a Rice Crispy treat or enjoying a classic S'more. Marshmallows to kids are like little bits of puffed up joy, designed specifically for them to get hyped up on and have hours of fun.

Dipping into our recipe stash and coming up with this adaptation of something we learned from a close friend in Culinary School we think these will be a surefire hit for anyone you pass them off too and of course as with everything else we show you how to make, no one will believe you made them at home.
