Recipe Of The Day: The Supreme Plate BBQ Sauce

We know that this weekend is going to be BBQ central at just about every park, backyard, balcony for those of you in the condo section of town and poolside cabana you can think of. With so much food going around, who wants to spoil the weekend running out of BBQ sauce or worse, using some cheap brand just because you tried to save a few bucks.
Bad BBQ sauce can ruin a whole lot more than the food it is being applied too. Well have no fear, use our tried and trusted recipe to spruce up just about everything you can dream about cooking this weekend and when it is all done, make some more, it lasts for up to two months in the fridge covered tightly.

The Supreme Plate BBQ Sauce -
Ingredients:
2 Cups Ketchup
1 Cup Water
¼ Cup Light-Brown Sugar
¼ Cup Granulated Sugar
1 ½ tsp Freshly Ground Black Pepper
1 ½ tsp Onion Powder
1 ½ tsp Dry Mustard Powder
2 TBS Fresh Lemon Juice
2 TBS Worcestershire Sauce
½ Cup Apple-Cider Vinegar
2 TBS Sriracha Sauce
2 TBS Light Corn Syrup
1 TBS Supreme Plate Bbq Seasoning (Recipe Follows)

The Supreme Plate BBQ Seasoning -
Ingredients:
1 ½ Cups Smoked Paprika
1 Cup Sugar
3 ¾ Tbs Onion Powder

The Supreme Plate BBQ Seasoning Directions:
Stir all 3 ingredients together in a bowl and store for up to 2 months in an airtight bag or container

The Supreme Plate BBQ Sauce Directions:
Whisk all the ingredients together in a large saucepan and bring to a boil over medium-high heat.
Reduce heat to maintain a simmer and cook, stirring occasionally, until reduced by about half or to desired thickness, about 2 hours.
Cool completely before transferring to an airtight container and storing in the refrigerator.
