Time Saving Tools "Kuhn Rikon Kulu Herb & Vegetable Knife"

Kuhn Rikon is known worldwide for their innovative and creative kitchen tools that are synonymous with quality and nothing less. We recently came across their  “Nonstick Kulu Herb & Vegetable Knife”  From the looks of this thing alone we had to put it to use instantly.
The rocking motion it looks to offer is similar to a lot of the techniques practiced in our test kitchens and it would be nice to see if a new product was to be released that mimicked the actual motion of a Chef’s knife.

Right out of gate it must be made known this knife is sharp. Do not let its round blade fool you; this thing is built for wear and tear.
Made of high quality carbon steel and able to be used with either hand, this knife seemed to be headed towards earning itself some good, hard use and a great review.

Starting off by Julienning a few bell peppers, this knife is great for performing the julienne cut.
Although it is tough to get the knife inside of a bell pepper or to use for small objects that are delicate, everyone knows those are tasks that are meant for a pairing knife or Chef knife.

Now back to the matter at hand, we put this knife against a huge pile of cilantro, thyme, rosemary and sage and time after time this knife performed well without so much as mashing or mangling the produce.

A few great things about this knife are that the rocking motion does not grow tired on the wrist and it cleans off easier than it is used. The final advantage about this tool is that it is fairly inexpensive for what you get out of it.

Coming in at an amazing price of $12.99 - $20.00 depending where you go and what model you get, that is pennies compared to how many wrist braces and doctor visits you will endure over your lifetime when the carpal tunnel kicks in (using those old clunkers some of us still choose to use.)

After a very minimal amount of time little getting used too, this thing will quickly be your herb-chopping, veggie slicing favorite.
Available at Kuhn Rikon.
